So this is right and this is wrong, you tell us what to do,

You come into my house, tell me that I'm wrong.
Pointing crooked fingers while you're selling me a song,
Your fake smile plastered on your face, you tell me this is true,
that you'll just pray this all away, cause saving's what you do.
Well take a look around there's fucking riots in the streets,
people broke and starving as they try to make ends meet.
Just living in your fantasy not opening your eyes,
damn the facts and logic and champion the lies.
There's no scientific study in the world to change your mind,
not the warming of the climate nor the rising of the tides.
So stick your fingers in your ears ignoring what I say,
then your problems. like the glaciers, will all quickly melt away.
So who gave you this crown? Christened you the king?
Your thoughts are all illogical, your words all cut and sting.
You call yourself conservative, as right-wing as they get.
But there's no use in a debate when your agenda's heaven sent.
How have I fucked up? Where have I went wrong?
All smiling to my face and then you stab me when I'm gone.
That mask you wear's a fake vernier precariously placed,
just one tiny chip and it will all disintegrate.
Standing on your soapbox you sing the same old song,
but when things are only black and white it's hard to carry on.
So absorb the television, let it fill your fucking head,
All the firebrands and demagogues perpetuating dread.
